ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA TANI PORANG (Amorphophallus mulleri) DI LMDH WANA RAYA KABUPATEN KUNINGAN(Studi Kasus: Desa Wanasaraya)Feasibility Analysis of Porang Farming Business in LMDH Wana Raya Wanasaraya Village

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with mega-biodiversity and abundant natural resource wealth. One of the 
commodities cultivated by Indonesians is the porang plant. Kalimanggis District is one of the areas where 
Porang commodity development is being carried out. Wanasaraya Village is a village that is the location 
for developing Porang commodities through the Community Forest Management (PHBM) program. 
Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the feasibility of farming Porang (Amorphophallus 
mulleri) in LMDH Wana Raya, Wanasaraya Village, Kalimanggis District, Kuningan Regency. This 
research was carried out in July–September and was located in Wanasaraya Village, Kalimanggis District, 
Kuningan Regency. Data collection methods use interview techniques and questionnaire techniques. Data 
analysis methods include: net present value, net benefit/cost ratio (net b/c ratio), internal rate of return 
(IRR), and break even point. The results of this research are a feasibility analysis of Porang 
(Amorphophallus mulleri) farming at LMDH Wana Raya Wanasaraya Village, Kalimanggis District, 
Kuningan Regency, seen from five aspects, as follows: Legal aspects in the not feasible category, market 
and marketing aspects in the not feasible category, technical and technological aspects in the very feasible 
category, environmental aspects in the very feasible category, and financial aspects seen from: value Net 
present value is worth running, the net benefit/cost ratio is profitable and worth running, and the internal 
rate of return is worth running
